Italy is a very beautiful country for all as its filled with numerous of fascinating attractions and offers a very deep diversified culture. And as Italy just might be one of the most exciting and adventurous country on the planet to adventure on, I wish to offer you an ultimate and complete list of everything that you should see and do when you arrive to Italy.

What are the Boboli Gardens The Boboli Gardens are located in Florence, behind the famed Pitti Palace. After the Medici family bought the palace, they continued to construct this magnificent garden. It was intended to be a reflection of their wealth and power while at the same time showcasing itself as a work of art. Upon being built it was a private garden up until the 19th Century when it was opened up to the public.

The modern day Boboli Gardens took over two centuries to develop, currently encompassing a size of 111 acres. The gardens include a large amphitheater, a grotto featuring art from Michelangelo, and a popular attraction: the Fountain of Neptune.

The Boboli Gardens is a public space that allows for sightseeing around the garden as well as relaxation throughout.

The amphitheater is used both past and present for entertainment such as festivals, pageants, and live shows. At the center of this space is an obelisk, which was imported from one of the Medici family’s other estates.

Scattered throughout the entire garden you will find various marble statues, a characteristic that was typically only seen in churches but as the Medici family was highly instrumental in the progress of the Italian Art Renaissance, statues began to take their place in public spaces such as plazas and gardens.
