Maldives is a small country best known for its amazing beach sceneries. This man is considered a hero in Maldivians in relation with his courageous acts in defending the country from Portuguese conquerors. Today, it is an inhabited island filled with so much history. The houses are made of woods and well preserved for the visitors to have a better view of Maldivian rich culture centuries ago.

Hukuru Miskiiy

Also called as Old Friday Mosque, Hukuru Miskiiy is the oldest mosque in Maldives. Although it has been there over years, the interior of this mosque is incredibly detailed with its coral stone walls and carvings of Arabic scripts. There are also tombs of highly respected sultans, heroes, and nobles that lie within the vicinity of this mosque. It is a place of beauty, bliss and serenity for everybody.

National Museum

The National museum used to be part of Maldivian Royal Palace. However, today it was moved in the capital of the country which is Male. It possesses some of the oldest artifacts of the country that have been great part of their early civilization and history.

Muliaage

Muliaage is the official presidential house in Maldives. It is a beautiful village that lies in the heart of male, near the Hukuru Miskiiy.  It was constructed at the year of 1914 and was fully established on the year of 1919. Visitors are not allowed to come inside. However, the beauty of the presidential residence is still overflowing even from the look of outside.

Fua Mulaku

Maldives cannot be fully tackled without an overview of one of its richest atolls. Although Fua Mulaku is the smallest, with just one island, this is the only spot in Maldives where tropical fruits such as mangoes and pineapple can be harvested.
